Creation of visual narrative around the choreography “Shatters”
Shatters is a contemporary dance duet on the relationship between two women sustaining each other as lives fall apart. After research on collective rituals of mourning, Margherita looks at
loss from a wider perspective, developing a work that wants to address the crises, the breaking point.
Our studio developed the visual concept based on the story and choreography created by Dello Sbarba. We analysed colours and textures as well as designed and programmed an interface that could control the visuals through TouchDesigner software and a Midi-controller.
