“The Enlightened Garden”

Lange Nacht der Museen, Köln 2022

Being part of the exhibition “States of Motion”, The Enlightened Garden is an interactive installation that encloses nature, mathematics, logic and feedback that creates a generative network between physical and virtual space.

Entering the Enlightened Garden you step into an in-between of the virtual and the real world. As a source of light, you can discover the garden's hidden secrets. With projection mapping and interactive inputs in combination with a 3d scene, we create an immersive space that can be perceived.

The garden has become a cyborg, whose physical presence collides with its technological identity. The Enlightened Garden seeks to maintain its existence in the future, allowing itself to be transformed by artificial intelligence, representing algorithms and autonomous mathematical processes, showing the struggle between the natural and the artificial.
